❤Family Traditions❤

Growing up in a family where we didn't have many special traditions, I wanted to make sure to make new ones with my kids. The funnest thing about traditions, is that it can be ANYTHING & I mean ANYTHING! just putting "tradition" after something makes it special! For example, every Saturday we make home-made sub sandwiches with the works & then we watch movies..Sundays I make sure to make the dinner & dessert very special. Now that My Son has summer vacation, we play games all day,indoor & out, we play old-school games, they love this! "Mother may I", "Simon says",
red light green light", "ring-around the rosy", "duck-duck-goose". My kids love all of these traditional games, believe it or not! for Outdoor activities y eldest son & I love to ride bikes together!, we Will, play tag,Frisbee, soccer or "fatty-foo catch us" (although we play this indoors as well) & it consists of Me holding My 1 year old son & chasing after the older 2. & let's not forget about reading to Our Children, they love for us to read to them & I also like for My Son to conitnue reading on his own.Of course other great traditions are teaching our children how to pray, how to know that even though us as parents may not always be able to be there, there is a God who always is. I love praying with My kids & I love reading to them at night & never letting a night go by without giving them a hug & telling them "I love You" that is the best tradition ever, making your kids feel special no matter what should be an everyday tradition.
